About Us

The Inquire Capitalism program at the University of Florida was created in 2018 and is funded by the Hyatt and Cici Brown Chair of History.  It is headed by Sean Adams of UF’s Department of History.  In addition to the public programs, graduate student grants, and research seminars, one of the highlights of Inquire Capitalism is the History of Capitalism Archives project, led by Dr. Paula de la Cruz-Fernández, a researcher in business history and gender studies, and digital archivist and manager at UF George A. Smathers Libraries.
